I was planing on setting one up if I have the monies. COD4 servers were pretty cheap so it will probably happen, but getting it populated was always the problem.

well I guess I won't be getting the server.  There are no Dedicated servers for MW2 and it is going to be a port of the Xbox 360 version.

Hello doodz. I was pretty pissed when I heard about the new servers for MW2. But then I read this http://www.fourzerotwo.com/?p=745 I am still skeptical that it can do all of those things it claims it can do like join a server based on skill. I don't get how it will determine your skill. No mods or downloads either it sounds like. . I don't know if I am going to buy it because I was pretty disappointed with CoD4 after awhile and with crappy servers it just doesn't seem worth $60 bucks. (I think its $60 for the PC). BOOOOOOOO INFINITY WARD.

lol I just noticed my first sentences sounded like the Enzyte commercials.

It's going to follow the same system as Xbox and PS3, trust me Bolverk, it knooooooows. It matches you against players of similar skill to you and whoever is in your party and puts you in one of Infinity Ward's servers for a match. This brings forth my question as to why the fuck can't they make it a Windows Live game and let us play with each other (I'm getting this on le Xbox)

Yes that came out shortly after this thread. I'm not sure how it works but i think you may need a certain hack to join the server. Not sure if it is free or not, but from the looks of that sever I wouldn't want to play there anyways.

Javelin glitch, akimbo models, and marathon with the extra melee range perk makes my brain hurt. Getting sick of the whole someone on the other team purposely throws down a tactical respawn so the guy can kill him over and over to get the nuke thing. The amount of times I've lost a domination match that we've been winning the whole time 2 seconds before we win is starting to bother the hell out of me.

I don't like that they nerfd explosives vs aircraft. An at4 would drop any of those aircraft with a possability of the ac-130 survning the impact but then there would probably be 2ndAry blasts on it and it. Would go down any way.
