Honestly dude, I think you should stick with it. You were brought up a few weeks in a row, they kept wanting to wait to see how you'd turn out once we got to know you better, and eventually it was decided that a vote was needed. I'm not a high enough rank to vote but I do attend the meetings and there were some people who were for you, a small few against (I guess you rubbed someone the wrong way once or twice, I did too) and a lot that were undecided because they hadn't played with you much.
Personally, I'm not ready to marry you but I think you're a decent person in game. I bet if you stuck with it and played enough so most people in the division know how you are you'd fare better. Don't think of it as rejection.... getting kicked and banned from the server is rejection....the people in the clan just want to make sure that you're someone they can have around all the time and have fun playing with in the server.
Edit: Also, as far as the email not getting to you: it's possible that there was an error in the system or just a miscommunication. It's one of those things were no one wants to tell someone they've been voted down so everyone tends to avoid it hoping someone else will break the news. If we thought you were a complete asshole you probably would have been told sooner once we realized you hadn't gotten the email. |
