Well, it has been fun.....
But tonight my computer died, and this time it is dead for good. Some of you may remember me complaining about my computer suffering a bit before amidst all the other complaining I do, and this suffering has finally reached its inevitable conclusion. The obvious extension is that you all will not be seeing any more of me for the time being, at least not in game. The few of you who have me friended on steam will likely still see me around, but TF2 is a no-go, so I'll be hanging up my medi-gun. Feel free to say hi, or whatever.
Anyway... I just figured I'd pop in to announce my leaving, since I had played on the Agent TF2 server pretty much 60-80% of nights/early AM's for the last many months. You were a good group, which is a rare thing in the gaming community these days. I'll be back eventually, but building a new machine really isn't an option at the moment. So see-ya round... I thank the lot of you for the good times.
Except you xeon....You ruined soooo many of my ubers.

Sorry the comp is shot, but don't worry we're likely to still be here when you get the new one. Its always a good sign when we have pubbers floating about our forums and not posting negative stuff/ trash/more negative stuff.
Hopefully we'll see you in game soon enough

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
I still show up on steam because I still have a laptop that functions. It is a pretty wimpy laptop though, and I downloaded steam some time ago to watch steam-movies on, since my desktop had such a tiny hard-drive. Steam starts up automatically each time I log in, and steam friends connects automatically each time I log into steam. Thus, I still show up in steam friends. I didn't disable in when my desktop went down because some people contact me through the steam friends stuff, and it is still useful to have. The laptop is far too wimpy to play games...
Thanks for the offer of the graphics card and the power supply, but I'm going to have to pass. The computer is down for the count, and I lack the capacity to resuscitate it. I tried mouth-to-mouth [dvd-tray, rather], but alas, my efforts were in vain. |
